With a background in video production, I knew I didn’t want my trailer to be one with me just giving a summary of my book, rather I wanted people to experience my book. I decided to have the trailer be an acted out version of my first writing, called “To the Reader”. I was looking for an old ship that would work for my actor portraying a fisherman, and finally came across the Schooner Pride in Charleston South Carolina. I am very thankful to the crew and captain for letting us come film and for being so kind to us. I am also thankful for my actor, voice actor, and stage manager for their help in making my ideas come to life. They did a really good job! I hope all who see it, enjoy it, and enjoy a different take on a book trailer.
Thanks to the crew and the captain of the Schooner Pride in Charleston South Carolina, for letting me and my actor film on their ship. We had a great time!
